Crunchy Fried Spring Roll with Rice Paper Wrapper


Ingredients:
  • Rice Paper Wrapper
  • 1 lb: Ground Pork
  • 1 cup: Spinach 
  • 1/2 cup: Shredded Carrot
  • 1 Avocado
Marinade (for ground pork):
  • 1 tsp: Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp: Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp: Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp: Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp: Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp: Corn Starch
Instructions:
  1. Marinated ground pork with soy sauce, garlic powder, sugar, black pepper, sesame oil, and corn starch.
  2. Mix well and marinated for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat up some oil in a pan over medium heat, add in the ground pork and cook until browned.
  4. Take a piece of rice paper and dip it in warm water for a few seconds until it becomes pliable.
  5. Lay the rice paper flat on a clean surface and place a spoonful of the filling (shredded carrot, avocado, ground pork, spinach) in the center.
  6. Fold in the sides and roll it up tightly, just like you would with a burrito.
  7. Once all the spring rolls are assembled, heat up some oil in a deep pan for frying.
  8. Carefully place the spring rolls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
