Try this recipe that can be made in under 30 minutes
Ingredients:- A pack of frozen marinated mussels
- 10 Shrimp
- 1 lb: Fettuccine pasta
- 1 tbsp: Olive oil
- 2 tbsp: Butter
- 1 tbsp: Garlic
- 1 tsp: Red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Parsley
Instructions:
- Cook fettuccine pasta.
- Cook the frozen marinated mussels in a saucepan for about 10 minutes or until the mussels open wide.
- Transfer the cooked mussels to a plate, set aside. Be sure to keep the tomato garlic sauce.
- Rinse the shrimp, remove the black vein along the back of the shrimps.
- Keep the shrimp heads as it can add more flavor to the dish when cooking, it is optional.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan, add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp heads and stir for about 1 minutes, then add the shrimps and cook until they turn pink.
- Remove the heads and transfer the shrimp to the plate, set aside.
- Do not drain the oil from the cooking pan, directly add the tomato and garlic sauce and bring to a boil.
- Stir in fettuccine pasta and cook for a minute.
- Return the shrimp and mussels and stir fry for about 2 minutes or until heated through.
- Garnish with parsley, then salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve.
