This mini tart is very super delicious
The rich custard and whipped cream has the right amount of sweetness, it is perfect with coffee or tea.
Ingredients:
- Pie Crust
- 1 Egg, beaten
- Banana
- Milk Chocolate
Tart Instructions:
- Cut the tart crust into circle shape.
- Place the tart crust into mini round baking mold.
- Brush each tart crust with an egg wash.
- Bake at 325F for 10 to 15 minutes, or until crust browns.
Custard Filling Ingredients:
- 3 Eggs, beaten
- 3/4 Cup: Sugar
- 1/2 Cup: All-Purpose Flour
- 3 Cups: Milk
- 1-1/2 tsp: Vanilla Extract
Custard Filling Instructions:
- Mix sugar, all-purpose flour in a pan, stir them well then whisk in milk.
- Let it simmer and stir over medium heat until the mixture thickened, remove from heat.
- Whisk 3 eggs in a small bowl. Pour some hot mixture into eggs and mix them well together.
- Transfer the small bowl of eggs to the mixture pan.
- Bring to simmer for about 2 minutes and remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- After cooking custard filling, strain through a fine sieve into a bowl.
Whipped Cream Ingredients:
- 400ml: Heavy Whipping Cream
- 40g: Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp: Cointreau
- 1 tbsp: Corn Flour
Mix the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, cointreau and corn flour together in low speed mixer until the cream thickening up.
