Bread Dough Ingredients:
- Step 1 - 1 Egg, beaten
- Step 2 - 6oz: Whole Milk
- Step 3 - 2oz: Melted Salt Butter
- Step 4 - 2 tsp: Sugar
- Step 5 - 1/2 tsp: Salt
- Step 6 - 350g: Bread Flour
- Step 7 - 1 tbsp: Dry Milk Powdered
- Step 8 - 1 tsp: Bread Machine Yeast or Instant Yeast
Bread Dough Instructions:
- In the bread machine container, please place the ingredients by the following order from step 1 to step 8.
- Based on the steps, we place wet ingredients first then dry ingredients later.
- Close the bread machine lid, set start the "dough" cycle (it will takes about 1 hour and 30 mins).
- Once the dough is done, which means the first rise is complete and is ready for use.
- Remove the dough from the container and knead it for few seconds.
- 20-30g: Unsalted Butter
- 1-1/2 cup: Raisin
- 3 tbsp: Sugar
Raisin Bread Instructions:
- Soak the raisin in hot water for about 5-10 minutes.
- Knead the bread dough until the dough is smooth.
- Roll the bread dough into 12x18 inch rectangle.
- Brush the butter on the dough, add sugar and raisins on top.
- Roll up the dough tightly, seal the edges by pinching.
- Slice into 6 to 8 equal parts, then transfer the dough to a loaf pan.
- Before putting the dough into the loaf pan, be sure to butter the pan.
- Cover and let the dough rest and rise for about one hour.
- Brush the dough with egg wash.
- Then bake 325F in the oven for about 20 minutes until nice and golden.
