Baked Matcha Mochi

Soft, sweet, and chewy matcha (green tea) mochi with a crisp exterior.
It is irresistible for matcha lovers.

Mochi Ingredients:
  • 200g Glutinous Rice Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 40g Melted Butter
  • 150g Whole Milk
  • 10g Matcha Powder
  • 2g Salt
Instructions:
  1. Mix glutinous rice flour, egg, milk, matcha powder, salt, stir the mixture well together.
  2. Add the melted butter and use your hands to mix the dough until smooth.
  3. Roll the dough to a mini ball, then spray some water over the dough.
  4. Bake in over at 325F for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven, allow the matcha ball to cool.
  6. Slice the matcha ball in half for the cream filling.
Filling Ingredients:
  • 100g White Chocolate
  • 100g Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 10g Matcha Powder
Filling Instructions:
  1. Mix the white chocolate, heavy whipping cream, and matcha powder until melted and smooth.
  2. Then keep the filling in fridge for about 30 minutes.
